Nikki Ervice is a writer and professional dancer from Homer, Alaska. She holds an MFA in fiction from Brooklyn College, and her debut novel, ROADSHOW, is forthcoming from Astra House.

Dance
Nikki Ervice began her dance training in Homer, Alaska under Jill Berryman and Yvonne Prucha. She danced in the Homer Nutcracker for eleven years and later performed with Jocelyn Shiro’s Jazzline Dancers. She went on to earn a BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, after which she performed professionally with Collide Theatrical and other projects. She moved to New York City in 2015 where she worked with Jennifer Archibald, Althea Dance Company, (which took highest honors at The DUMBO Dance Festival, 2019), Ayalis in Motion, The Painted Ladies, and Rocha Dance Theater, which most recently opened The ACDA Northeastern Conference as their visiting company. She has been lucky to tour nationally and internationally and perform on stages that include New York Live Arts, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Teatro Ribeiragrandense in the Azores, and the Fondation des Etats-Unis in Paris.
